Starbucks recently released its FY2022 annual report for the year ended October 2, reporting full-year revenue of $32.25 billion, up 11% year on year.

Revenue Mix

For the fiscal year:

  • North America accounted for 72% of revenue.
  • International markets accounted for 22%.
  • Beverages contributed 61% of Starbucks' FY2022 revenue.
  • China revenue was $3.0 billion, down 18% year on year.

Company-Operated Stores

As of October 2, Starbucks had 18,253 company-operated stores globally.

North America had more than 10,000 company-operated stores. Among international markets, China ranked first with 6,019 stores, followed by Japan with 1,630.

Licensed Store Footprint

Outside North America, Starbucks' largest licensed-store market was South Korea, with 1,750 stores. Latin America followed with 1,549 stores.

In Southeast Asia, Indonesia had the largest Starbucks licensed-store footprint, with 523 stores. Thailand ranked second with 446, followed by the Philippines with 418.
